dinner in the desert

Having dinner in the desert is something very special. You can enjoy the absolute silence under a crystal clear night sky.

We start the trip in the afternoon, in time not to miss the sunset. The dinner site is reached by a three hour walk, by camel, horse or donkey in two hours, or by four wheel drive in about an hour. Near the camp site is an easy walk up a low hill from where you have a wonderful view of the sun setting behind the mountains. During the evening you will be attended by Ababda who will make tea, coffee and later on dinner. Upon request the Bedouin can prepare goat for dinner: a local speciality.

Back at 11:00 pm at the latest.
